The work explores the nature of memory, in which the past does not disappear but continues to exist as fragments — sounds, images, faces, musical notes, and emotional states.
Here, music becomes a metaphor for memory: we cannot hear the past again, yet sometimes a single image or sound is enough for it to return unexpectedly, almost physically, with a sense of déjà vu.
“Phantom of Memory” is not a recollection of a specific concert, but an illusion of returning to a place where, for a fleeting moment, the past becomes present again.
